We are a non-denominational, independent Christian Church founded in 2024, in San Marcos, TX. At Awaken, we are family. We meet every Sunday at 9am & 11am to worship the Lord, study the Word, pray and fellowship with each other. Our kids ministry (birth-elementary) is available on Sundays. During the week, our church family meets together in home groups. Young Adults discipleship meets every Thursday at 6:30pm, and Youth 6th-12th graders meet at the church weekly in between Sunday services.

We believe in encountering Jesus through the continuing work and power of the Holy Spirit, and through that connection you will be encouraged in your faith. We believe in equipping God’s people for ministry to engage others with the good news of Jesus Christ.

We are always expanding the Awaken Church serve team and would love to start a conversation about how you can use your gifts for His glory and fulfill the mission that God has for you inside the church and surrounding communities. Twice a year, in the Winter and Fall we offer ministry training called “Equip nights”.
